Acorn slippers are the best! This is my second pair of Acorn slippers and I am completely hooked on this brand! The previous pair was very similar in style, but different in materials used. Absolutely wonderful shoes and worth every penny! I bought them in the red patent and they just make me happy. So happy, I bought them in the chocolate brown too, but I have to say the red ones are way more fun! (Yes, I kept the brown ones too, after all, you can't wear red with everything!) I have a narrow foot, but a high instep, so sometimes narrows don't work, but these did. I bought 7 1/2 N and they are perfect; I can wear them all day. They are waterproof, but do not make your feet sweat like some waterproof shoes. I'd buy them in every color for the comfort, but given the shiny patent leather, I think making a statement with one of the bright colors is the ticket. If they ever come in kelly green, I am so on it!

Absolute best! My favorite sandal! I use them for when walking miles in the heat (or rain ~ think Disney World!), as well as everyday wear. They mold to your feet after a few days of wear, are waterproof (drainage holes are great), cushioned, with arch support. Definitely order a size up though. A wide shoe, for Fred Flinstone feet. This is a squishy lovely sandal that I really wish would have fit better. I usually wear an 8, ordered it in that size, and it was just too wide. Really wide. I don't have a narrow foot, just standard. I ended up taking them out for a long walk just to make sure because I wanted them to fit, but they didn't and now I couldn't return them. A sturdy little shoe for more serious hiking. The Vasque Mantra is a nice step up from other so-called trail-running shoes. It has a real Vibram sole and a supportive Nubuck upper for better traction and stability on more challenging, steep or rocky trails. The shoe is built on a straight last - which is great for those of us who do not have curved feet to match a lot of the other shoes on the market - and has a roomy toe box that eliminates pinching on the little toe, especially going downhill. It will also accommodate orthotics. I'm not sure whether it is waterproof (it's not a Gore-Tex lined shoe), but it is definitely a great choice for serious day-hiking or backpacking in dry conditions.

A really good boot - My first La Canadienne boot and they exceed my expectations. VERY comfortable from the start. I can wear either 8 or 8 1/2- for this boot I wear 8 1/2. Heel height is just right medium length jeans and the sole has a good grip in the snow/ice. I have not worn suede winter boots before, so a nice addition to my boot options, but I am curious to see if they require more care than leather...

A lifesaver! My daughter is studying in Toledo, Spain which is very hilly and the streets are cobblestone. She wrote to beg me for some shoes that would save her feet, because the ones she brought were worn to tatters. I brought these when I went to visit. She put them on and has not worn anything else since. They are soft, cushiony, comfortable and cute. The problems she was having with her feet were gone instantly. A few months later... I wrote a review back in February about these; didn't get to wear them many times before the snow fell and haven't worn them more than a handful of times since the weather turned cold again - in short, they've had very little use, but just yesterday I noticed the zipper had pushed through the leather (which is very thin) by the ankle. It isn't stress that's doing this - the zipper bends out there because the leather is baggy. I don't think they'll be able to be repaired (leather is actually tearing along the zipper) and the overall quality leaves a lot to be desired. Wouldn't purchase twice - definitely disappointed.
