Beautiful shoe! This shoe is beautiful and very elegant... The only problem is that the toe box is tight and uncomfortable. I didn't want to buy a larger size as the length is perfect and I was concerned about the shoe staying on my feet if I got a bigger one. The overall shoe is a bit narrower than expected but not so much that the shoe is unwearable. (I have feet that are on the narrower side of average.) This shoe in an average width feels almost like a "narrow" shoe. I took the shoe to a local repair shop to have the toe box stretched. I hope it works. I have a feeling this will become one of my favorites!

Beautiful shoe. This shoe looks great. I tried it on at the Cole Haan store because I loved the way it looked and was willing to pay whatever it cost. Unfortunately, the strap across the toe is very tight. I have a thin, relatively narrow size 7 foot and I absolutely could not wear this shoe. Also, while walking around in the store, I noticed my heel was making a "sticky-clicky" sound against the metallic Cole Haan label.

Beautiful boot, but the heel came apart on both the first and second pairs we received. Luckily Logohoo customer service is excellent; when the heel of the second pair also came apart, we were offered reimbursement for repair of the boot, and were also issued credit for future purchases. But to avoid the hassles of returning/repairing, I would avoid buying this boot.

The toe straps are a bit snug on the first wear, but the leather is soft and they will stretch over time. It's also a bit narrow (as are many Frye shoes), but not too bad. Beautiful, classic and elegant in Khaki Metallic, which is like a dark bronze. I was on the fence about whether to keep these. My feet are a little on the wide side and these shoes squished my little toes a bit. I was trying to decide if I thought they might stretch out a little when I found another pair of metallic shoes that were incredibly comfortable, so I decided to return these. One phone call to Logohoo, next size was ordered, received new shoes before I even shipped back wrong size! My amazement was that I didn't have to purchase two pairs and then wait for a credit. Beautiful shoe. Made really well. Runs big. I am a solid size ten (especially in heels) and that's what I ordered, but my heel tends to pop out of this one, so maybe order a 1/2 size small. Also, I have a wide foot and usually have a hard time finding heels that work for me, but these fit fine. These are wickedly high, so unless you are a seasoned high heel wearer, steer clear. These look amazing on and are totally worth the money and the pain wearing them causes!

Be patient - This is the third pair of Targhee's that I have owned. At first, they are a bit stiff --- but be patient. Soon they will conform to your feet and be your best friend. I use them as an all around shoe --- and also to go hiking in the woods with my dogs (great traction and support). Being waterproof is a good plus. I also wear my orthotics in these shoes -- although the insole is good enough to wear without them.

Be careful to get the right size. Danskos should fit bigger than other shoes. I first ordered my reg. size 9 and thought they fit. After wearing them for hours they hurt my feet because the arch didn't hit me in the right spot. I then ordered the 9.5 (41), which at first seems big because your heel slips when you walk, but this is how they are supposed to fit. The front of the shoe comes up so high on the front of your foot that it fits secure even though your heel slips.

Bass Anthem - this is not the 'perfect' sandal, nevertheless, it is comfortable, doesn't rub the wrong way, no break-in period, because it's all elastic. I just wish the insole wasn't a smooth leather. My foot sweats and slides around a little because of the shiny leather footbed. Another thing, this shoe is offered in a lot of widths, but the wide version wasn't any wider than the medium width! I am keeping this sandal though; it's easy to put on and is comfy and looks good.
